SPENZALOT (3) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 6f at Tamworth when third, beaten 1.2 lengths. Likely improver so he shouldn't be a maiden for long. SMART BUY (8) ran a much better race at her second outing last start when she made late ground to finish second over 6½f at Dubbo. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. MAJOR LOOK (2) started at 15/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 1.5 lengths at Hawkesbury over 6½f. Won't find this as tough so he will be hard to beat. LEOVANNI (6) wound up strongly last time out to finish a neck adrift in second over 7f at Bathurst. Settles back early but winds up late. Can run on into the finish.
