BIRD WHISTLE (9) wasted no time getting off the mark as favourite on debut over 6f at this track three-and-a-half months ago and has not raced since. Has since been kept ticking over with a Scone trial placing. Has plenty of upside and can win again. FAVOUR THE BOLD (1) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by a nose over 5f at this track. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and he should be in the finish again. LIGHTHOUSE LASS (2) missed the frame in town lastest but not disgraced when sixth in the G3 Reginald Allen Quality Hcp at Randwick and does tend to run well here. Settles back early but winds up late. One to consider. CHICA DEL MAR (3) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Port Macquarie, beaten 5 lengths into fifth. Has her share of ability and is a top-three prospect.
