SHENANDOAH RIVER (8) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 3 lengths over 5f at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. MARGIN CALL (2) produced a reasonable effort to finish one length away in fourth last start over 5½f at Hawkesbury. That followed a win on debut at Canberra. This doesn't look as hard so he will prove hard to beat. LILY BOBTAIL (9) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5f at Taree, beaten a nose. The engagement of Clayton Gallagher is noteworthy. Steps up a level but she is good enough to take this out. RUNRANIRUN (1) resumes after six months and looks forward enough following a convincing Warwick Farm trial win. Won't find this as tough. Well placed and expected to measure up. Among the better hopes.
