FRENCH TRIP (1) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1m3/4f at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Won't find this as tough so he is one of the main contenders. ACTOR (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 10 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 7f at Greyville, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Won't find this as tough so he is a major player. CONTINENTALEXPRESS (3) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at Greyville All Weather two starts back then scored by 2 lengths last time out over 1m4f at Greyville. Finds a suitable race and can build on that last-start success. ARVERNI KING (8) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing fourth over 1m1 3/4f at this track six-and-a-half months ago. Can make his presence felt.
