MORRISSETTE (1) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Flemington over 1m1f. Will need a good ride from Jordan Childs off the awkward draw. Won't find this as tough so she is sure to be right there at the finish. LEONCHROI (10) settled well back then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 7 lengths away in seventh last time out over 1m1f at Sandown-Hillside two-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in journey. Will find this easier. Should be in the finish. KENTUCKY NICK (4) strode forward early from his wide draw last start over 1m2f at Flemington only to fade late and finish eighth. Must be included among the main hopes. BLACK PEPPERMINT (3) turned in an encouraging run when resuming, settling well back then winding up nicely to finish sixth over 1m1/4f at Flemington. Should prove tough to hold out.
