TUNDRA (1) was prominent through the early and middle stages but peaked on his run and finished fourth when resuming over 6f at Murtoa last start. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Best form puts him right in this. HIDDEN WITNESS (14) settled well back last start and never threatened when 5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 5¾f at Geelong. Has the ability to put the recent poor run behind her. BROMEO (2) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Wodonga, beaten 4. 5 lengths into fourth. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. TIMBOLTON (7) was in the money two starts back at Jerilderie but couldn't back it up last time when eighth, beaten 6 lengths, at Manangatang over 7¾f. Has his share of ability and can do a lot better.
