SOBUTE (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he settled well back over 6¾f at Doomben, beaten 3.5 lengths into seventh. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. FEARLESS THINKING (4) ran well despite being friendless in betting when resuming last time over 6¾f at Doomben, finishing second and beaten half a length at 33/1. Tiffani Brooker stays on. One of the contenders. CHAPARRAL CHASE (6) is back from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Closed last prep with a tenth, beaten 12 lengths, over 1m1/4f at Doomben. Has sound form here including a win and two minor placings from three starts. This sets up nicely.
