GAS BRIGADE (3) was never really in the hunt last time, drifting back early and winding up 3. 5 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1m1/4f at Doomben. Won't find this assignment as tough. Will be hard to stop. SHIP HAPPENS (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m1f at this track, beaten only 1. 75 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. AMELIORATION (2) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to just miss when second over 1m1/4f at Doomben. Among the chances again.
