Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. DAVIKAR (11) was heavily backed and justified the support when resuming last start over 6f at Gold Coast, scoring by a nose. Will be better for that latest run and is expected to feature in the finish. BLUE ALLURE (10) finished fourth last time out over 6¾f at Ipswich, beaten 2 lengths. Well placed and likely to feature. SIMPLY EXCELS (3) showed good early dash before weakening to be beaten 3. 5 lengths into seventh over 5½f at Ipswich last time out. Sound record at this distance with two wins and three minor placings from six runs and deserves respect.
