Strong record with Leah Martyn aboard, including two wins. Likely to feature. ROSE OF SHIRAZ (9) turned in a fair effort at Gold Coast over 7f at her last run three-and-a-half months ago, finishing fourth and beaten 2. 25 lengths. Expect her to play a major role. ALLY (8) was in contention on the corner and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 6f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. THE HAMO (7) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5½f at Gatton, beaten 4 lengths. This looks a good race for him and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
