JAGGERY (5) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 2. 25 lengths into fifth over 5f at this track. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Fitter so expect a better run this time. RITUALIZE (6) is a promising gelding yet to miss the frame after two starts, including a win. Is at the races for the first time since he finished third over 5½f at Ipswich on May 14. Has plenty of upside so he is a leading contender. KING SPIRIT (2) was a strong winner last time over 6f at Rockhampton, scoring by 1. 3 lengths to make it two on end. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will be in this for a long way. TRAPEZE WARRIOR (1) was never really a threat when resuming last start over 5f at Eagle Farm, finishing 7 lengths from the winner in sixth. Likely improver with blinkers added.
