    EXCENIA (4) is back at the races for the first time since November 12. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5f136yards at Geelong. Rates highly and should take some beating. MR BUTT'S BOATS (3) resumed a month ago over 6f at Ballarat and was only beaten 2 lengths into sixth after being in the firing line on the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. OLIVIA'S SCANDAL (9) has been racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track over 6½f. Draws ideally and is among the main chances. Set Weights EETSOP (11) was on the speed from the rails draw when resuming last start and battled on well to finish third over 5½f at Hamilton. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders.
