PENTATHLON (6) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on December 6, finishing fifth and beaten 11 lengths over 1m in the G2 Cigar Mile Handicap at Aqueduct (Dirt). Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. TWILIGHT DANCER (5) finished sixth two runs back at Tampa Bay Downs Turf (Turf) then improved last time out to score by half a length after being in contention on the corner over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt). Looks well placed so expect another big run. MR PENNY PINCHER (7) turned in a fine effort to win by 1. 5 lengths at this course and distance last time out to continue his outstanding recent form. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose.
