RUN RORY RUN (2) ran another good race last time when third over 7½f at Newcastle, beaten 3 lengths. One of the big hopes in the race. MON AMORE (8) was racing well without winning, finishing in the money on two consecutive occasions, before finishing seventh last time out over 7½f at Port Macquarie. Better than the last effort and is a winning chance. SPIRITLY (11) saluted at this track two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when third over 1m1f at Port Macquarie, beaten 1. 75 lengths after doing his best work late. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. SCOTLAND (5) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when fifth over 7½f at Newcastle, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Worth another chance.
