HE'STHECHIEF (1) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was in contention on the bend before being beaten 4 lengths into sixth over 5½f at Scone. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. BLUE DANE (5) made progress last time out, finishing 3. 5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 5f at this track after being in contention on the corner. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. STARWARD (3) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when sixth, beaten 9 lengths, over 5f at Tuncurry. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to take this out. COUSIN CHUCK (4) has not raced since his debut back on September 27 when he finished seventh over 5f at Gunnedah. Can improve sharply.
