KENISIS (8) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at her second outing, finishing 1. 5 lengths from the winner in second after working home well at the end of 6¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle). Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. VELKA (5) turned in an eye-catching run last start over 6f at Mudgee, dropping out early before coming home with a powerful run to finish second. Expected to measure up. PEAR BELLINI (7) was well fancied last time but could only manage second over 1m at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Should be involved in the finish. TOKE (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at Tamworth, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Suitably placed so he can figure again.
