OUR EMILY (5) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 2. 5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 5f at Port Macquarie. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. WITHSTAND (6) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on September 30, finishing 12th and beaten 7 lengths over 6f at Tamworth. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with two minor placings. Has to be respected.
