THE PROSPECT (14) is a two-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 4. 5 lengths when seventh over 6½f at Hawkesbury. Can come on from that run and looks a serious contender. NGUNNAWAL (8) settled well back then found the line nicely to finish fourth, beaten 2. 25 lengths, over this journey at Wyong last time out. Solid top-three hope. MORTLAKE (6) finished seventh two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m at this track, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Suitably placed so he can figure again.
