PERILOUS FIGHTER (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Pakenham, beaten 2. 5 lengths into eighth. Faces an easier assignment so he is one of the main contenders. EDGES DIAMOND (5) turned in a sound effort last time but found a couple better at this track over 6f, beaten 1. 4 lengths. Hard to beat. BIG ME (2) returns from a lay-off of five months and is having his first run for a new yard. Was a winner when fresh last campaign at Bendigo over 5f. Ran sixth in a trial at Colac over 5f recently.
