STOLEN STOCK (4) was beaten for early speed and didn't come into contention when a disappointing eighth over 1m at Ararat most recently. Finds a nice race and can make amends. INSTINCTIVE SPIRIT (6) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m4 1/4f at Geelong, beaten 6 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the turn. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. STAR OF STIRLING (3) is an honest maiden who resumes from a lay-off of five-and-a-half months and looks set to run well after two very good recent trials. The blinkers go on and a bold showing is anticipated. PARAMOUNT WAR (5) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m1 3/4f at Great Western, beaten a nose. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
