    COL KLINK (5) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 4 lengths back in sixth over 6f at Cranbourne three-and-a-half months ago. Fitter for a recent trial win. Right in this. BIG ROOSTER (1) wasn't far away in two runs during his maiden prep, the latest a fourth over 6f at Warrnambool five-and-a-half months ago. Has had the benefit of two trials and is high among the list of chances. MENZIES CREEK (8) was well fancied when resuming but found a couple better at Mt Gambier, finishing 1. 2 lengths adrift at the end of 4½f. Will appreciate the extra ground. One of the better chances. I'M DA BOSS (3) was 5 lengths from the winner in fourth over 5½f at Geelong last time following a minor placing on debut the run before. Well placed and can feature in the finish.
