Leading contender. SILENT DRILL (7) turned things around last start and landed the prize by 1.5 lengths after being prominent at the turn over 6f at this track (Dirt). Looks well placed so expect another big run. NATIONAL STORY (1) improved last start to finish third over 5½f at this track after being prominent at the turn. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. VERNON'S BEST (2) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 5½f at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Expect a better run this time.
