KOOL BRUCE (12) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound second over 4f76yards at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. PLEA (5) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in second over 4f76yards at this track after being prominent at the turn. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. EL QUINTO (6) is a four-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Corey & Kylie Geran yard. Finished off last campaign with a 12th at Bairnsdale six months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Shapes as a top-three chance.
