Likely to play a major role. TORONESS (10) finished 5.5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 5f at Bairnsdale four weeks ago. Steps up in journey. Will find this assignment a little tougher but shapes as one to consider. LAAN (5) is a well-related four-year-old mare on debut. By The Autumn Sun from Axiomatic who has produced some fine gallopers, including winners at black type level. Filled a minor placing in her most recent trial at Doomben. Promising type who can make a positive start to her career.
