BLUISH HUE (4) turned in a nice effort last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 1. 75 lengths from the winner in second over 5½f at this track. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. SKY BLUE (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she got a long way back over 5f at Dalby, beaten 2. 25 lengths into sixth. Nicely placed to get the prize. SPLASH LUMA (9) recorded a strong on-pace win here last time by a long neck over 5½f. Will push forward and is among the chances again. JOHNNY THE KID (1) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Corey & Kylie Geran stable. Hasn't raced since finishing eighth at Warwick Farm three-and-a-half months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but has filled a minor placing two times from three runs when resuming. Not to be underestimated.
