READY AS BAM (2) is a two-year-old colt facing the starter for the first time. From a family of winners, being by Better Than Ready from Miss Bam. Has only trialled once and scored at Gatton. Has the aid of a nice alley and should be in the finish. CRAIGLEA MONNIE (7) did little and finished 5 lengths from the winner in seventh over 4f at Thangool last start after being in the firing line on the turn, a less impressive effort than her fourth at Ipswich the run before. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is good enough to take this out. LONESOME STAR (6) was in the firing line on the turn and finished second last start over 5½f at Dalby, beaten 3 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is good enough to take this out.
