SPIRITED (11) is back after a break of seven months. At the last run before the layoff she finished seventh over 7f at Beaudesert. Looks forward enough following an impressive trial win recently. Can make a winning return. SEABEE (9) did little and finished 7 lengths from the winner in seventh over 5f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than her sixth at Sunshine Coast the run before. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MYSTERIOUS BAY (8) travelled in a rearwards position then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 6 lengths away in fifth last time out over 5f at this track two weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Will drift back but wind up late. Winning claims on best figures. HEZA ROMEO (3) failed to threaten when fresh from a lay-off last time out, beaten 6 lengths into eighth over 5f at this track. Will be handy despite the tricky draw. Must be respected.
