ARIK LAD (1) finished eighth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 6f at this track, beaten only a long neck. Looks well placed so expect another big run. COMBAT CRUSADER (2) is a five-start maiden who finished seventh, beaten 4 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time.
