CHARMED DESTINY (14) finished fourth two runs back at Port Macquarie then improved last time out to score by 1.1 lengths as favourite after being in the firing line on the turn over 1m1f at Port Macquarie. Taking on a better field but he is capable of another big run. MAUI (1) wasn't far away last time out, finishing fourth over 1m at Taree after he got a long way back in the run. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Likely to play a major role. GANDOLFINI (2) raced on the speed from the outset and went to score by 2.5 lengths last time over 1m3f at Grafton. Is going well this campaign, recording three wins from seven starts. Must be respected.
