RENO (1) is ready to win after another minor placing last start, finishing second over 6f at Santa Anita (Turf) when he was prominent throughout. Will enjoy the drop in grade so he is one of the main contenders. TYGRA (4) resumes from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 5½f at Canterbury Park (Dirt). Good chance to break through. WARREN'S C J (3) missed the placings two runs back then settled well back last start when 9 lengths away in sixth over 5f at this track. Meets some better types this time but a big run will not surprise. ELUSIVE MOON (2) resumes from a lay-off of 11 months and is having his first outing under new trainer Justin R Evans. Finished fifth at Santa Anita (Dirt) over 6f at the opening run last time in work.
