Well placed on this occasion and gets his chance to break the ice. BOOMING BERNARDO (3) made progress last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 5f at this track after being in contention on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. RUN SMART (4) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when he was beaten 11 lengths into fourth over 5½f at this track. Fitter so a likely improver.
