GIFTED VALOR (3) has been in the placings three times from six outings. Last start finished fifth over 7½f at this track (Turf). Yet to miss the top-three in two runs at this course. A maiden win looks imminent. SENOR TEQUILAS (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he settled well back over 1m at Los Alamitos, beaten 13 lengths into seventh. This is a nice drop in grade so he is sure to be prominent. MAESTRO ITALIANO (7) ran below expectations last time at this track (Dirt), finishing seventh and beaten 14 lengths. Suitably placed so expecting a better run this time.
