TRE ITALIANI (13) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when third over 1m at this track (Synthetic) when he was always up in the leading division. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. BLANCO (8) last appeared five-and-a-half weeks ago over 7f at Woodbine when he finished second. This is his first run for the Brendan P Walsh stable. Has found the right race and can take this out. ON THE LEVEL (10) was quickly into stride and went on to score by one length last time out over 7f at Churchill Downs (Dirt). Taking on a better field but he is worth serious consideration. MY OWN (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6½f at this track, beaten 1. 5 lengths. Another forward showing is anticipated.
