GELATO (3) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of three-and-a-half months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 1m1/2f at Woodbine All Weather. No surprise if he was able to get off the mark. GENTLEMAN JIM (4) finished 5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 6f at this track after being in the firing line on the turn three-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in distance. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Will be in this for a long way. UNDERAPPRECIATED (1) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1m at this track, beaten 10 lengths. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
