PEARL TROUT (1) could only manage fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6¾f at Griffith, beaten only 1.2 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Looks well placed so expect another big run. KERMA ART (4) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Leeton, finishing fourth and only 1.3 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m when he did his best work late. Finds the right race this time and can take the next step and salute. CRUSHEEN LASS (5) made progress last time out, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 7f at Jerilderie. Likely to hold the form and is a strong top-three prospect.
