    SABATINA (6) is ready to win after another minor placing last start, finishing third over 1m1/2f at Wellington when she was always up in the leading division. Looks well placed so expect another big run. PRIDE OF JEZZA (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but impressed when returning from a break last time at this track, finishing third and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 7f when he worked home well. Meets a stronger field but he is worth serious consideration. COOL AS POPEYE (11) ran below expectations last time at Queanbeyan, finishing seventh and beaten 6 lengths starting at 3/1. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. CHECK SIDE (1) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 7f at Albury after he was well back on straightening. Suitably placed so anticipating a bold performance.
