ENGINE ROOM (1) is back from a break of five months. Raced twice in his maiden campaign and wasn't far away on either occasion including the last run when second over 7f at Randwick Kensington. Has had the benefit of two trials and can break though here fresh. SIESTA (10) returned last time with a solid third at Randwick Kensington over 5½f after being in contention on the corner. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. MANUKAU (7) finished second last start over 6½f at Hawkesbury when she made late ground, beaten 0.7 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is capable of a big performance. NOW IS THE HOUR (3) continues to improve and should be at his peak now after finishing in the money at Wyong over 5½f last time after being in contention on the corner. Steps up a level but he is good enough to figure in the finish.
