THE REPLICANT (3) was in the money two starts back at this track but couldn't back it up last time when seventh, beaten 2. 5 lengths, at Randwick Kensington over 6½f. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and four minor placings. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. CLIMB THE LADDER (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when fourth in a 6½f contest at Sandown-Hillside three weeks ago after being in the firing line on the turn. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. MAMUSHKA (8) is overdue for a win with three placings from three appearances this prep, the latest effort a second over 6¼f at Randwick Kensington. Sure to be about the mark again. FRONTEX (2) produced a better run last start, beaten 1. 2 lengths into fourth over 1m at this track. Has his share of ability and is a top-three prospect.
