CUBAN CIGAR (10) built on a nice second two starts back at Beaumont (Newcastle) with success as favourite over 7f at Kembla Grange five-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a neck. Goes up a rung or two but he is capable of running another bold race. PUERTO BANUS (5) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m at Newcastle, beaten 2. 2. 5 lengths. This looks a good race for him and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
