BRULLEN (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7½f at Mornington, beaten 0. 7 lengths into fifth after being in contention on the corner. Has the talent to take care of this field. QUEENSBURY (3) got well back over 7f at Pakenham last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 36 lengths away in ninth. Finds the right race this time and can take this out. DOUGAL MCKEEN (15) was a real eye-catcher last start, coming from the tail over 7f32yards at Traralgon to finish a head from the winner in second. Has a win and three minor placings at this journey from six starts and is one of the contenders. SLATE RIPPER (6) resumed two weeks ago over 6f at Donald and was only beaten 2 lengths into sixth. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
