DETERMINED LOVER (7) is back from a lay-off of seven months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 5½f at Remington Park (Dirt). Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. WAYLON'S GUITAR (8) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5½f at this track, beaten 1.3 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SMACKZILLA (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track (Dirt), finishing third and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 5½f. Suitably placed so anticipating another bold showing.
