Has an impressive strike rate at this distance with three wins from five runs and should prove tough to beat. SOUTHERN FURRTREEOUS (7) is yet to break through in six runs. Finished seventh at his last appearance over 1½f at Fair Meadows (Dirt) on July 19. This looks a nice race so expect him to be right in the finish. SHANNONS DYNASTY (1) is a five-start maiden who has been in the money at her last couple of runs, the latest when second over 1f130yards at Retama Park (Dirt). Must be included in calculations. GENTLEMAN 727 (6) resumes from a lay-off of ten weeks. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 1½f at Fair Meadows (Dirt). Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
