ANGEL KISS (7) returned from a break last start and drifted well back before closing powerfully to score over 6f at Remington Park (Dirt), getting home by 0. 3 lengths. Good record at this journey with two wins and five minor placings from 10 starts and is expected to be competitive. ROSE PALACE (3) comes here off a break of three-and-a-half months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 6½f at Churchill Downs. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
