GRAND PRAIRIE GAL (3) did a great job to score by 7 lengths over this course and distance when when resuming from a layoff last start. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. INNER FURY (4) last appeared seven-and-a-half weeks ago over 6½f at Sam Houston Park when she finished eighth. This is her first run for the Mark W Buehrer stable. One of the genuine hopes in the race. GRACE GIVEN (5) has been racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track (Dirt) over 1m. Good record at this journey with two wins and four minor placings from nine starts and is one of the contenders. CAMS HOTROD (6) did a great job to score by 0. 3 lengths over this course and distance last start in a much improved run. No reason she cannot salute again.
