MAGICAL MAX (8) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish third, beaten 2. 25 lengths, over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Rates highly and will be hard to peg back. RUGGED SAWYER LEE (9) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 17 lengths when seventh in a 5½f contest at this track six weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. GOSPEL UP (7) has not been a factor of late. Two runs ago was out of the money over 1m at this track. Last time he failed to complete the course at this track. Can turn things around. CHEROKEE WILL (3) was below his best last time when ninth over 6f at this track (Dirt), beaten 21 lengths. Has his share of ability and can do a lot better.
