Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. POMBIA (9) showed good early dash before weakening to be beaten 3. 5 lengths into sixth over 5½f at Hawkesbury last time out. Expected to be in this for a long way. PRECIOUS GIRL (2) was prominent at the bend and finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 4½f at Newcastle, beaten a head. Tackling a more suitable race this time so she is a key runner. DEAR MY FRIEND (1) showed good early speed last start on debut and fought on well to hold second, beaten 1. 4 lengths, over 5f at Orange. Has upside and must be respected.
