Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing third at her latest appearance over 5½f at Bathurst. Placed in a recent trial. No surprise if she was able to get off the mark. MIND BENDER (6) returns after six-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a eighth over 6f at Kembla Grange. Ran fifth in a recent trial at Warwick Farm. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. NATIONAL NEWS (7) is on debut. By Churchill and comes from the Kim Waugh stable. Looks forward enough after a Wyong trial win.
