ESCARGOES (2) started at 9/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing 13th and beaten 13 lengths at Gosford over 6f after being in the firing line on the corner. Has the ability to figure prominently. BRIGHTBURN (5) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 5¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle) in a tougher race. Will benefit from that experience so she can feature again. ALL STAR (1) is returning from a lay-off of seven months. Finished sixth at Canterbury over 5½f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Fabio Martino. Will be forward for this after a recent trial win at Hawkesbury.
