FLYING THINKER (13) gave a bold sight at the latest appearance over 7f at Randwick but dropped out to finish ninth. Should be poised just off the lead. Among the leading chances. ALTHOFF (7) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 1. 2 lengths over 6f at Randwick when he did his best work late. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. ELSON BOY (1) sat on the pace last time and boxed on to finish 3 lengths away in sixth over 6½f at Randwick. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Sure to be thereabouts.
