AUTUMN WINTER (1) turned in a solid when resuming effort at this track then wasn't beaten all that far last time when sixth at Hawkesbury over 1m1f. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. RIBBLE LACE (5) broke through for his maiden win over 7½f at Kembla Grange last time. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and he cannot be discounted. PROCEAN (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was always well out of his ground over 1m2f at Hawkesbury, beaten 4. 5 lengths into fifth. Likely improver with strong prospects. RITA'S PEARL (6) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 2. 5 lengths, over 1m3 1/2f at Newcastle. Will be putting in the big strides late.
